Antonine Maillet is a Canadian novelist and playwright. After graduating, she entered the Congregation of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, and she mmaillet teaching. In she left the congregation to return to school. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Montreal in A little later she received a scholarship to study in Paris.
