Max at first thinks Lilli is like the rest and is just holding out for him to sweeten the pot. I was a little thrown with the twist at the end, and had wished that Ms. Banks had given a better hint byy this possibility earlier in the book.
Jun 08, Paula Legate rated it really lewnne it Shelves: This was a sweet romance. When Max first met Lilli he thought she had only dated his brother because his family was wealthy. Max met with her the first time to attempt to get her to sign papers, billjonaire he was going to give her a cash settlement.

The more he got to know her, the more she shocked him. He had never met another lady l This was a sweet romance. He had never met another lady like Lilli.
She was a very independent lady. He quickly came to care for Lilli. The two were cute together. At times I felt the story was a little rushed. It may have been because it was a short story.
I did enjoy reading about Baby David. Most ibllionaire about a romance couple that is expecting seems to skip right over the details of the baby, and the precious moments shared after the birth.
It brightened my day, and this story was a pleasure to read. Feb 22, Tia rated it liked it.
I read this book quite a long time ago and never reviewed it. So hopefully I can remember the important parts. Lilli is pregnant with what Max thinks is his dead brothers baby.
Tony had so easily made Lilli fall for him with his charming demeanor and lovely smiles but he was full of lies and when Lilli found out she was quite devastated. Now Tony is dead and Lilli is alone and pregnant, so when Tony’s brother Max shows up at her door and gives her a bunch of demands, she is ultimately confused, s I read this book quite a long time ago and never reviewed it. Dec 22, Amy rated it it was ok Shelves: Why was the gold digger trying to sneak into Max’s room when he wasn’t home?
This one’s a bit silly but did the baby have gas or did he actually smile? Does Lilli assimilate into high society, and does she even want to? I’m sorry but it felt as if the author had all these additional twists and so much more of the story to tell but 2. I’m sorry but it felt as if the author had all these additional twists and so much more of the story to tell but either lost interest or just forgot about them. The story was wrapped up too prettily and way too abruptly.
I didn’t buy Max’s profession of love one bit. Oct 23, willaful rated it did not like it Shelves: Woman is pregnant with billionaire’s dead bad-boy brother’s baby, so of course they get married. This was a typical, simplistic, but reasonably enjoyable story up to the very end, where the main characters make an extremely unpleasant discovery. I was disturbed by how quickly and easily it was glossed over, and that really put me off the book. It was less disturbing but also disappointing that the conflict between the two was resolved very quickly, instead of making lots of lovely drama and hear Woman is pregnant with billionaire’s dead bad-boy brother’s baby, so of course they get married.
