At one point while I was reading this book, Klosterman mentioned Matt Dillon and the band Was Not Was although this has noting to do with klostermn title within a few pages of each other.

Chuck Klosterman is a changed man. It also feeds the hunger for spontaneity, because there is no sense of control or consistency. As for me, I’m moving onto new things. Contrary to popular opinion, killing is dinosauf advertising; if you ignore killers, they’re not simply going to go away. I enjoy football only a little more than chess by which I mean that I appreciate the concepts more the the actual gameplayand I can get behind Trek because it’s fictionalized military in an altruistic future.

Overall, I loved the voice of the author and the questions he possess about the world. It’s not the only good essay, though.

I would flip to more interresting sections breaking outside the convention that all should be read sequentially dinoosaur, but then stuff would get stale again and I would set it down.
