Los orígenes de la civilización by V. Gordon Childe
This book make us realize how incredibly limited is the information we have on the history of humanity on earth. Vere Gordon Childe 14 April — 19 October was an Australian archaeologist who specialized in the study of European prehistory. He spent most of his life in the United Kingdom, working as an academic for the University of Edinburgh and then the Institute of Archaeology, London, and wrote twenty-six books during his career.
Initially an early proponent of culture-historical archaeology, he later became the first exponent of Marxist archaeology in the Western world.

It’s fluidly written and interesting. Verne circles his book on evolution, how everything started; from art to cooking, he explains the beginning of it all. Very good chhilde a quick read. I have detailed notes if anyone wants them.
Childe provides an encyclopedic scope on archeological findings prior to and up to the publication of his work. This book provides so much detail that it can be overwhelming. It’s a must-read though!
